Was expecting the diesel change at ERS but to my surprise ED 22557 was given just for the 2 hour ride until Shoranur from Ernakulam. Passengers were talking about where the train would stop on Konkan route etc. Some did not know that train was diverted via Konkan and got down at the next station. It would have been an eventful journey if I had proceeded for New Delhi but 3000 km in UR is worse than hell, though even the UR coaches were surprisingly half empty today. Because after Shoranur, it is virtual non stop with no regular passengers boarding the train. Telangana people should at least give 2 months advanced notice so that train maniacs like me can reserve their tickets on the diverted dates !!!
